Australian Terrier

The Australian Terrier is small and sturdy with a blue and tan, sandy or red coat that is harsh in texture. They have a keen and alert expression and confident spirit. They are versatile in their work and living situations, making suitable companions in most environments.

A small, sturdy, medium-boned working terrier, rather long in proportion to height with pricked ears and docked tail. Mastín Napolitano

El Mastín Napolitano tiene fama de ser un terrible guardaespaldas. No es una afirmación infundada, ya que en otros tiempos se le utilizó para luchar contra gladiadores y fieras o para acompañar a los bandoleros del sur de Italia. Pero a pesar de este pasado belicoso no es un perro agresivo, la razón de que este perro responda a las órdenes del hombre es la necesidad que tiene de moverse.

El Mastín Napolitano es un perro pesado, musculoso y rechoncho. Tiene unos ojos de expresión penetrante. Las orejas son pequeñas, triangulares y cuelgan pegadas contra las mejillas, aunque en algunos países se las suelen cortar. La cola es gruesa en la raíz, aunque es normal que sea amputada en un tercio de su longitud.

El Brittany

El Brittany es un perro mediano de cacería, destacándose en la caza de aves. Este es un spaniel (levantador de la presa) que actúa como un pointer (mostrador). También sirve de retriever (recogedor de la presa). Tiene el sentido del olfato muy desarrollado. Otra cualidad es que le gusta mantenerse no muy lejos de su amo, otros perros cazadores de la misma categoría tienen la tendencia de abarcar mayores áreas y de tal manera hay veces que se alejan demasiado.

Este es un perro de cacería con instintos y olfato muy desarrollado para esa función. Los criadores se esfuerzan por mantener y superar estas cualidades y el mejoramiento de la forma sobre la aceptación de la raza como mascota. Sin embargo, por su naturaleza, este perro se destaca entre las razas de cacería por su capacidad de también ser una buena mascota en el hogar.

The Brittany

Known since the mid-19th century in the French province by the same name, the Brittany is the smallest of the versatile gun dogs. Though spaniel-sized (average 30 to 45 lbs.), the Brittany is a pointing breed, not a spaniel. The Brittany points and holds his game, and retrieves both on land and in water. He is used primarily on upland game in the United States, but is used on both fur and feather in France.

The Brittany is a dog without extremes. This is a compact, closely knit dog of medium size, able to cover ground with agility. A Brittany’s medium-length coat is flat or wavy, and may be colored orange and white, liver and white, or tri-color, in clear or roan patterns.

EL BORZOI

Originario de Rusia, se cree que su antepasado fue el lebrel egipcio.
Perro predilecto de los Zares, tuvo en el gran duque Nicolás, personaje de la corte Rusa cuando era zar Alejandro II , uno de sus mayores criadores, se cree que poseía más de un centenar de perros, todavía hoy en día es una de los perros favoritos de la realeza, dado su porte elegante y aristocrático.
Su nombre proviene del vocablo ruso borzii, que significa veloz, fue un perro para cacerías del lobo siberiano y otras piezas de menor calado.
Su aparición en Europa fue en Inglaterra como regalo del zar de Rusia o la reina Victoria.
